Sometimes there are times where you need to report a bug, or share an amazing battle, and you need some video evidence to say what words may not be able to. Here are some tips that we have found most helpful in recording, saving, and sharing video of KIXEYE games.
There are many services out there that you may use to record and share video files. We recommend recording with Screencast-O-Matic and then uploading the video to a service like YouTube. Both of these services are free and you only need an E-mail to sign up.
Please note: These services are not a division of KIXEYE and are their own companies. All terms and conditions for using their website or services are your responsibility. We are not held responsible for these services terms, usage, or malfunction.
Capture Video
Screencast-O-Matic has a robust help center with video tutorials to help you understand how to capture and save video files. Once you have your video file captured and saved, the next step is to SHARE.
Share Your Video
The easiest way to do this is to upload the video file to YouTube. (Fun Fact: If you have a Gmail account, you already have a YouTube login!)
Once you create a YouTube account, you can upload a video with the following steps.
- Log into your account
- Find the gray camera button in the top right corner, click once.
- Choose Upload Video
- Choose the file you would like to upload.
- Fill out any information and settings as you would like. Please make sure that it is not Private, we will not be able to view it.
- Copy the URL for the video you would like to share with us and include it in your ticket.
